About Me
I teach Chemistry and AP Chemistry at Davison High School in Davison, MI. I grew up mainly in Grand Rapids, MI, but also lived in Iowa and Colorado for a few years during elementary and middle school. Both of my parents went to Michigan State, so I grew up an MSU fan. I played on the club tennis team during my undergraduate years at MSU. Sports have always been a part of my life, so I enjoy the time I spend coaching girls tennis in the spring. I hope to one day be a head varsity tennis coach. My passion for coaching is why I chose a concentration in Sport Leadership and Coaching for my Masters degree.
I am very close with my family. I have two sisters (one older and one younger). I enjoy traveling, reading, playing cards, darts, foosball, and pool in my free time. The picture to the left was taken on a Lake Michigan beach near Manistee; my family was about to watch the sunset around a campfire (it is legal to have a fire on that beach).
